2026- 2027 Oliver Ames Swim and Dive Captains
Leah Evora:
Swimming is one of Leah’s biggest passions. She’s been in the water since before she can remember and has been swimming competitively for 8 years. While joining a team in a new town was daunting, it became one of the best decisions for her. She has grown in her abilities so much and would like to inspire her teammates to try their absolute best and enjoy their time on the team. Leah frequently swims the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Breaststroke. In the offseason Leah is a lifeguard and swim instructor. Leah is so excited to become a role model and learn how to be a trustworthy and supportive leader.
Aidan McDonagh:
From a very young age, Aidan has always loved to swim. It was not until his freshman year, however, that he joined a competitive swim team. From then on, Aidan has developed a love for the sport and for the team. Aidan's niche is in the long distance events, as he also runs long distance track and cross country. Aidan is known for his come from behind finishes in the 500 free. Aidan was named a Hockomock League Honorable Mention for the 2025/2026 season. Aidan has also been a lifeguard and swim instructor for three years. Going into his second year as captain, Aidan wants to push his teammates to give their best effort and to see them succeed. Aidan is very excited to see how much everyone will improve for his last year of high school swim.
Justin Silverman:
Justin is a second-year swim team captain who is passionate about creating a supportive, high-energy culture on the pool deck. Inspired by the leadership of past captains who helped him fall in love with the sport, his primary goal is to pass that same passion down to every swimmer on the team. He brings a strong work ethic, dedication, and competitive drive to every practice and meet. Over his high school career, Justin has earned recognition as a Hockomock League All-Star, a league medalist, and a State and Sectional qualifier. Above all, he is dedicated to lifting up his teammates and leading the team toward another unforgettable season.
Hannah Le:
Hannah has been competitively swimming since she was ten years old and always had a love for the sport. She swam for the club teams Hay Lightning and Taunton Tiger Sharks in the past and since the start of her freshman year, she immediately felt welcomed into the environment of the Oliver Ames Swim and Dive Team. Her favorite events are the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Hannah has worked as a lifeguard and a swim instructor in the past and hopes to progress through her captaincy as a person that both her teammates and coaches can rely on. Her goal is to help create the same welcoming atmosphere that made her enjoy being part of the team, so that new members can experience the excitement of pushing themselves to their greatest potential while constantly having the unwavering support from their teammates.
